Art shouldn't be limited by any boundary. Artists from mix culture backgrounds create numbers of works with varieties meaning and forms. That should be what the future looks like, and is what my magazine looks like.

Project |02 Tea and Wine

(Chinese and French)

This book is for the CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF CHINA-FRANCE TIES “ TEA AND WINE” Exhibition. I worked with the other two designers, and I am responsible for images manipulations and inside layout, text and font layout, rearrange all the medias. I was named the only graphic designer in mainland China and awarded by Gourmand World as the best wine book in China, 2015.

I spend a year to think about my final thesis. the trend of the world is more digitized, traditional industrial is facing a new challenge. As a student who gets into old design making techniques, like the printing press, hand draw typeface, I want to talk about what is the relationships between the creators and their works. I looked back into history, find some specific moments, and printed them in a mechanical way, I am wondering how does the technology change the way we seeing things. This is not the end, it continues.
